Rectangular, all sides decorated with motifs from Venice including St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace, the Rialto Bridge, and the Bucentaur. On the inside of the lid, a harbour scene in pink camaieu, the interior gilded. Charnier of gilded metal. Dimensions 6.8 x 5 x 3.5 cm.
