Launched in 2005, the ref. 2200.50.00 belongs to the very first Planet Ocean series and stands out as the bold 45.5 mm “Big Size” model with 600 m water resistance. Early details include the unusual pairing of two broad-arrow hands, an aluminium bezel insert with its distinctive silver inner ring, and the Co-Axial calibre 2500C, Omega’s first widely adopted Co-Axial movement in a diver.
Closely related to the Planet Ocean worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, this reference embodies the watch’s early Bond era identity.
