More information

Few timepieces capture the spirit of independent Swiss watchmaking quite like Daniel Roth’s Perpetual Calendar reference 2117. Created during the early days of his namesake brand, this watch represents a groundbreaking collaboration between Daniel Roth and Philippe Dufour, two of the greatest living watchmakers of their era. Their joint ambition was to build the world’s first instantaneous perpetual calendar, where all functions would leap crisply at midnight. Driven by a refined Lemania 8810 base movement, every component is meticulously finished to the standards you’d expect from two masters of Swiss watchmaking.

According to Dufour:
“I remember it being hard work. It took me about six or seven months to finish the movement.”
