More information

The Vacheron Constantin Reference 4073 is an elegant dress watch produced between the 1940s and 1960s. It features a timeless Calatrava-style case with well-balanced proportions. While most examples were made in gold, stainless steel versions are notably rarer and especially prized by collectors.

Inside, the watch is powered by the manual-winding Caliber 453, a reliable movement with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. While the Reference 4073 shares its case design with the 4217, the latter houses the Caliber 454 with central seconds instead. Both models exemplify Vacheron Constantin’s dedication to high-quality watchmaking during this period and remain highly sought after by vintage enthusiasts today.
