This elegant Audemars Piguet dress watch from the 1950s is powered by the VZSS-C, a rare and highly modified variant of the renowned Valjoux 13''' caliber. While Audemars Piguet typically reserved this movement for its more complicated watches, a select few time-only models were produced, making them highly collectible today. This example features a central seconds hand—an uncommon and sought-after configuration. The inside of the caseback is stamped with the casemaker Hammer Head, no. 166, indicating the case was built by Henri Jeanneret.
