Designer

Sven Dalsgaard was a self-taught visual artist, Dadaist, and poet. He was born in Randers, Denmark, in 1914 and remained based in Randers until his death in 1999.

Sven Dalsgaard was an extraordinarily productive and versatile artist. Throughout his life, he worked broadly and with many different expressions. His experimental, innovative, and conceptual approach involved a distinctive use of various media. Historically, his production spans from surrealism, modernism, Dadaism, neorealism, and into the 1980s and 1990s, where he blended elements from all these periods.
