A late Gustavian mahogany and faience tea-table, Stockholm, late 18th century.

Likely Rörstrand's manufacture. The rectangular faience tray with decoration in purple camaieu from Drottningholm after Johan Fredrik Martin (From Swedish Views). Underside with painted mark "P : G : S No 21." and "'97" in red chalk. The mahogany base executed in the manner of Carl Diedric Fick. Short sides with pull-out candle trays. On four rectangular, tapering legs with pierced corner consoles and ending in wheel casters. Length 97, width 68, height 78.5 cm.
