A jade belt buckle in the shape of a buddhist lion, Qing dynasty, 18th century.

A well sculptured reclining buddhist lion with a ball under its front paw and a pup on its back. Length 8.8 cm. Height 5.6 cm.

Natural inclusions and feathering to the stone.
