A Canton enamel and gilt bronze tripod ritual wine vessel 'jue', Qing dynasty.

Archaistic shape. Decorated with polychrome enamel depicting a light blue dragon and a phoenix bird with foliage and lotus flowers to brown ground at the interior. The exterior decorated with blue dragons chasing a pearl, two blue phoenix birds to turquoise ground. Ruyi border above a yellow archic border to black ground. Handles and tripod legs with relief decor. Height 18.5 cm.

Wear. Loss of enamel. Retouches.
