"Burn and Turn" is a project by Bursell and Svedberg presented during Stockholm Design Week 2024, addressing the issue of materials and craftsmanship. The project consisted of a series of five side tables in four robust materials: glass, aluminium, stoneware, and wood. The starting point was the ideals of the Arts & Crafts movement and how these could be transformed into a contemporary piece of furniture.
The tables were manufactured in the Stockholm area with the help of local craftsmen and were displayed in their entirety for the first time at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2024.
