Sølve Sundsbøs fotografier publiceras ofta i magazin som PoP, i-D, Dazed and Confused och Vogue Nippon. Han är flitigt anlitad av uppdragsgivare som Yves Saint Laurent och Nike och har fotograferat skivomslag till bland andra Röyksopp och Coldplay. De aktuella fotografierna avbildar Alexander McQueens kreationer som visades på Metropolitan Museum of Art i New York 2011. Modellerna sminkades och ljussattes för att efterlikna skyltdockor. Kropparna målades med en gipsbaserad akrylfärg och bilderna efterbearbetades med omfattande retuscheringsarbeten för att skapa en perfekt illusion. Ett arbete som tog månader i anspråk men som bidrog starkt till de dramatiska skildringarna av Alexander McQueens skapelser.
