At the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, there is a writing set by Petter Bernegau from 1707 in the same style as the current catalogue number. Compare also the three similar boxes that were included in the Läckö exhibition in 2004, by the same master but dated 1709, one of which is included in H M King Gustav V's collection.
At the Hermitage in St. Petersburg (inv. no. E4709 1-32), there is a 32-piece gilded toilet service by Johann Marx Schoap, Augsburg 1695-1700, which almost completely coincides in shape and decoration with Bernegau's from 1709.
At Bukowskis auction no. 524 in 2002, three similar boxes, cat no. 460, by Bernegau from the year 1709, were sold.
