More information

For three generations, the Seirafian family has woven carpets that are today widely considered to be the absolute finest. In 1939, the banker Haj Agha Reza Seirafian (1881-1975) started the family business, which continues to this day. By using the best materials, designers, and weavers, the Seirafian workshop set a new quality standard and tripled the number of knots per square meter, from an average of 270 knots to about 500 or more. This level was maintained when Seirafian's seven sons followed in his footsteps.
