Veneered with satinwood, rosewood, and maple. Mounts of gilded bronze. Sarcophagus-shaped casket decorated with fan motifs, leaf rosettes, and terminating in lion's paws. Signed on the lock mechanism "DIEHL 19 . r. Michel-le-Comte PARIS". Length 31, width 23.5, height 16 cm. Key is included.
