Abraham Cailliatte, a 17th century gold and enamel pocket watch, the case attributed to Pierre I Huaud.

The back with décor of Danaë and the Shower of Gold within a polychrome flower garland and a green outer border, the interior with a portait of a lady dressed as a goddess withing a scrollwork frame against a turquoise ground. The white enamel dial with roman numerals and a scene of a figure in a landscape to centre. The gilt movement signed "Abraham Cailliatte", with pierced and engraved balance cock and lion-shaped pillars. Diameter circa 35mm.
