A blue and white mustard pot, Qing dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722).

With later mount. Decorated in underglaze blue with 'lange-lisen' alternating with flowers in a pot. The base with an artemisia leaf. Height 13.5 cm.

This is part of a collection, a collection that was assembled not only with great care, but also with a deep curiosity and passion for learning - a true academic collection. The collector has been actively buying and studying Chinese porcelain since the early 1970’s.
