Bertel Bertel-Nordstöms is most notably known forhis blue-tones impasto paintings, particularly those of his atmospheric depictions of Stockholm and its surrounding waters. He was an early modern expressionist, born in Helsinki 1884, and worked in Stockholm from 1915 onwards.
