Decorated with etched flowers and leaves in green against a matte marbled background in yellow, green, and pink, signed ORREFORS FB. Height 23.8 cm.

Two minor base chips.

Designer

Fritz Blomqvist was a Swedish glass artist who was educated at the Technical School in Stockholm. He was employed as a pattern designer at Orrefors Glassworks in 1915 where his drawings were used until 1917. He designed art glass using cameo glass and graal techniques.
