A set of twelve Gustavian chairs by J. Hammarström (master 1794-1812) and E. Ståhl (1794-1820).
Each with a pierced sheaf-shaped back above tapering fluted legs terminating in toupie feet. Five signed IHS (Johan Hammarström, master in Stockholm 1794-1812), and one ES (Ephraim Ståhl, master in Stockholm 1794-1820). Seat height 47, back height 94 cm.
