A Fabergé gold, silver-gilt and enamel stamp box, workmaster Henrik Wigström, St Petersburg 1908-17.

The rectangular body enamelled in translucent violet over a wave guilloché ground, edges of engraved gold with green enamel dots. The hinged sloping lid inserted with a 5 kopek stamp under a rock crystal plane within reeded borders. Marked Fabergé in Cyrillic, with workmaster's initials, 56 gold standard and 88 silver standard, scratched inv no 6110A. Length 3.8, width 3.4 cm.

Silver with engraved gold mounts enammelled translucent violet over a wavy engine-turning, the hinged lid with a russian stamp framed within a reeded boarder. The floor of the interior of the box is sloped to the front to facilitate the removal of the stamps. Signed H.W. Length 3.8 cm, width 3.4 cm.
