A pair of enamelled pink ground plates, Qing dynasty, Guangxu mark and period (1875-1908).

Decorated with three roundels, painted and gilded depicting boys on buffalo, chrysanthemum sprays and riverside retreats in mountainous landscapes all against a bright pink ground. The back with five bats, and a shou character. Diameter 18.2 cm.
