A bronze figure of a white Tara, possibly Qingdynasty, Pala-revival style, 17th/18th Century.

Seated on a tall lotusthrone in a meditative pose, elegantly draped dhoti, bejewelled style, tall footrim with an engraved decoraiton. Height 15 cm. Weight 778 gram.

Provenance

From the collection of a Scandinavian nobleman, who had a long diplomatic career starting, in the 1920s as a young attache in China, later on as ambassador in China.
