18K, white enamelled dail with Arabic numerals. verge escapement, key wind with engraved signature and number 7790 Plain outer case numbered 7790 / 2738 and marked LC. Diameter 60 (49) mm, total weight ca 155 gram.

Eardley Norton was one of the most skilled watchmakers in London during the second half of the 18th century. His astronomical clock, automatic clock with chimes and chronometers won fame. He had a significant export to Scandinavia and Russia. He delivered out of i.a. to George III of England and Catherine II of Russia.
