An early 19th century gold and enamel box, unidentified makers mark, possibly Hanau, Empire.

18K, rectangular with cut corners, the sides and underneath enamelled in translucent royal blue over guilloché ground, the lid enamelled with Zeus in his char. Inside of the lid marked with possibly French "prestide" marks, the rim with later French import marks. Length 8, width 4,6, height 2,1 cm. Weight 161 gram.
