More information

Anders Högberg (1921-1996) opened "Högbergs Silversmedja" in the mid-1950s together with his brother Sven-Erik Högberg. Together, they represent what the so-called "Gothenburg School" stands for with their fairly simple and matter-of-fact jewelry, often without precious stones and intended for everyday use. Anders Högberg, who was trained as a goldsmith, was apprenticed to Sigurd Persson whose influence is clear, especially Anders Högberg's rings with their openwork playful patterns bear witness to Persson's influence.
