More information

Rolf Winquist var framför allt internationellt känd som porträttfotograf. Omkring år 1950 började han också experimentera med gatubilder och reportagefoto. Han tog också mode- och reklambilder på uppdrag av modehus och magasin. Winquist drev under många år Ateljé Uggla på Kungsgatan i Stockholm. Där använde han flera yngre fotografer som assistenter, bland annat några ur gruppen Tiofoto som bildades 1958, och Hans Gedda som sedan drev studion vidare i ytterligare två år efter Winquists död.
