Gilt bronze. Rectangular shape. Decorated with flowers, acanthus leaves and garlands. Metal dial with roman numbers. Stylized paw feet. Height 19.5 cm. Keys included. In a leather case with purple velvet lining.

Provenance

Josephine of Leuchtenberg (1807-1876), Queen of Sweden (1844-1859), reportedly gave the clock as a Christmas gift to baron Claës August Falkenberg (1828-1894). Falkenberg worked at the Queens court 1864-1876. Thence by inheritance.
