Glazed in olive green hues, the lid crowned by a lizard in relief, signed with the ladder ABW 1915 B 39 A-1. Height ca 9 cm.
Designer
Anders Wissler (1869-1941), married to Bess Wissler (1866-1952) from 1904, established themselves in Mariefred after joint studies in Paris. They started their studio, Ateljé Solklinten, in 1909. It is generally considered the first private stoneware kiln in Sweden.
