Between 1919-1940 mr Eurén worked at STAB in Shanghai. In 1940 he moved back to Sweden and STAB's HQ in Jönköping, Sweden, as Head of overseas interests, especially those in Asia and South America”, which included the Philippines. During 1947 - 1948 mr Eurén did a 18 month travel to all STAB's countries in Southamerica and Asia, with a longer stay in Manilla, Philippine.
Mr Eurén had a prominent collection of mainly Chinese pieces but also from Japan and other countries in Asia. He was also very interested in ethnology and architecture. When he and his wife moved from the villa in Djursholm, Sweden with thousends of items, some of the pieces were donated to Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities and Museum of Ethnography, Stockholm, Sweden.
