Henrik Allert, a ceramic sculpture, his own workshop, Skövde, Sweden.

Curved shape, partly glazed, painted in blue and brown. Relief decor of a horse's head and a face, signed Henrik Allert. Height 38,5 cm, width 38 cm, depth ca 24 cm.

Minor rim chips.

Artist

Henrik Allert was a Swedish sculptor born in Skövde. Allert studied at the school of art and design at Gothenburg University. He has been associated to Rörstrand, where he designed ceramics. Allert created his scuptures out of stoneware and bronze depicting animals and humans with dramatic expressions.
