with a total weight of ca 18.25 cts, quality H-J vs -si, dimensions 53 X 45 mm, total weight 15 g.

Reverse with later brooch fitting

Provenance

A gift from PA Tamm (1774-1856) to his second wife Johanna Charlotta Ehrenbill (1773-1832), thence by descent to the present owner. Tamm was an important political figure in Sweden during the 19th century and with his connection to the Grill family one of Sweden's wealthiest men.
