A modernist composition in a variety of brown nuances as well as ivory and light blue. Made without fringes.

A little faded. Little wear, dirty, stains. The ends have minor damages.

Designer

Lars Gynning is the Swedish artist who had the greatest impact as a creator of patterns for woven wallpapers (tapestries) in France during the 20th century. After studying in Sweden and France, Gynning began collaborating with the famous company Pinton Frères in Aubusson during the 1940s. Around 250 tapasties were created after Gynnings designs. One of France's greatest textile starts Jean Lurçat is one of the artists who associated with and greatly inspired Gynning, the seed from which his own style grew.
