Signed on stretcher verso: "Sjelfporträtt av Uno Troili. 1846 i Rom". (=Self portrait by Uno troili. 1846 in Rome). Canvas 29 x 23 cm.

Provenance

A gift from the artist in Rome to the art dealer Möller in Copenhagen. At his death bought by his friend Palaemona von Geijer (born Treschow) (1837-1908) wife of Salomon Gottschalk von Geijer (1821-1904), thereafter inherited.
