A rug, a semi-antique silk Kashan, ca 212,5-214,5 x 134,5-135,5 cm.

An ivory ground with a polychrome medallion, corner ornaments as well as large palmette, flower and arabesque festoons. A burgundy main border with palmette and flower patterns.

The ivory silk is partly corroded. Some wear, dirty, stains, fragile ("cherook") areas. The sides have fold wear and minor damages, the ends have several rows of knots missing, later fringes.
