A Northen European glass and silver tankard/mugg, unmarked, c. 1600.

Glass imitating hardstone. Silverlid with coat-of-arms for Sehested and Brahe. Height 10,5 cm.

Provenance

Steen Sehested and Anna Brahe married 1592, died without issue.
By inheritance through either of their nephews, to
Wiveca Trolle (1721-1806) at Trolleholm castle.
Married 1740 to Carl Bonde af Björnö (1682-1764)
Christening gift 1802 to her son daughter´s son, Gustaf Adolf Vive Sparre af Söfdeborg (1802-1886), born at Trolleholm.
Thence by decent.
