A tiara/brooch in gold and silver set with old- and rose-cut diamonds in a fitted case stamped Fabergé

dimensions 11 X 5 cm, total weight 32 g. One mechanism with assayer´s mark И A (I A) and with marks for gold standard 56.

Provenance

According to information given the tiara was purchased in S:t Petersburg around 1907 by Mr Brändström, the Swedish ambassador in Russia 1906 - 1920. Thence by descent. Mr Brändström was the father of Elsa Brändström also known as "the angel of Siberia".
