A doucai dish, Qing dynasty.

Decorated with a band of ruyishaped emblems in doucai colours. Base decorated with three cranes in a landscape. Diameter 14,2 cm.

Cracks. Restored chip to rim.

Purchased at Bukowskis december 1999. Lot no 1233.

From the Collection of Claes Wirseen (1939-2020). Pharmacist Claes Wirseen grew up in a family with a passion for Art and Antiques, he and his wife continued the tradition and were frequent visitors to the Fine Art viewings of the Auction Houses in Stockholm. He became interested in Asian art in the 1980’s and started to build up his collcetion at that time, never tiring to learn more about the Asian Ceramics and Works of Art.
