Inpressed decoration of flowers within borders. Grayish-green glaze. Unglazed footrim. Height 15,5 cm.

Purchased at Auktionsverket, Stockholm November 1996, lot no 1808. Proenance listed in the catalogue as purchased from Nakabun, Tokyo, 30 september 1956.

From the Collection of Claes Wirseen (1939-2020). Pharmacist Claes Wirseen grew up in a family with a passion for Art and Antiques, he and his wife continued the tradition and were frequent visitors to the Fine Art viewings of the Auction Houses in Stockholm. He became interested in Asian art in the 1980’s and started to build up his collcetion at that time, never tiring to learn more about the Asian Ceramics and Works of Art.
