A Fabergé cigarette case for the Nobel family, workmaster August Hollming, St. Petersburg 1898/9 -1903.

Silver, gold and enamel, Rectangular, the surface cast with bands of radiating reeds, gold-set cabochon moonstone push-piece. Decorated with "GN" in gold for Gustaf Nobel surrounded gold facsimile signatures and coat of arms mostly of gold and enamel.
Marked inside cover and on base Fabergé, with workmaster's initials for August Hollming, 88 silver standard, assay master Iakov Liapunov, scratched inv no 12940. Length 10,5 cm, weight 204 gram.
