More information

The engagement didn't last for long as Captain Harris tried to get her to give up her artistic life.

This year it is two hundred year’s since Jenny Lind was born. She has been called “The Swedish nightingale” and was greatly recognised not only in Sweden but also abroad. Her life has been compared to a Cinderella saga with her difficult childhood, her praised singing career and her very much appreciated engagement in charity.
