a sterling table clock with enamelled details, Stockholm 1931.

Square, hands and figures with purple enamel, a Viking-ship as a finial, qvartz mechanism. Marble base. The clock 9,2 x 9,2 cm, the base 13 x 13 cm.

The base with chip, scratches. The enamelled hands possibly with later enamel.

Designer

Atelier Borgila was founded by Erik Fleming in 1921. The firm quickly established a solid clientele, and its work was characterized by high quality combined with a stylish elegance. The firm was taken over in 1959 by his son Lars Fleming, who successfully continued the workshop and company until 2005 when the firm was sold to the silversmith Henrik Ingemansson
