A culptured object and a nephrite figure of a dog, Qing dynasty, 19th Century.

Decorative piece cut with bats and hapiness symbol. The figurine in the shape of a reclining dog. Lenght 4,5-5 cm.

Wear. The stone with the natural incluscions and feathering to the stone.

Provenance

From the Collection of Ingenjör Gösta Nordstrand (1905-1985) and his wife Valborg Nordstrand, born Ahlmark. Gösta had a great interest in Asian Art, a lot of the pieces were purchased at Victoria Lindström Antikhandel, Grevturegatan 28, Stockholm in the 1960s. Thence by descent.
