A set of three silver frames, Japan and China, early 20th Century. The large one marked Miyamoto Shoko, Tokyo.

Measurment the large one decorated with bamboo 14,5x19,5 cm. Diameter the round one with dragon. 14 cm. Measurement the small one with bats. 12x15,5 cm.

Damages, back side and glass missing. The large one are missing two corner pieces to hold the photograph.

Provenance

From the collection of Johan Hultman (1876-1958. Hultman was a Swedish diplomat, in 1911 he became the Swedish Envoyé in Shanghai. He returned once more to Asia after a post in Germany, and was the Swedish Envoyé in Japan and China 1928-37, Siam included from 1931. Bukowskis has previously sold items from this collection.
