A Dutch faiance tobacco jar, circa 1800.

Marked B:P-6. Painted decoration of a kartousch above the brand name B: Rappe, above barrels of tobacco, all flanked by two men smoking pipes on each side. Height 27 cm.

Brass cover accompanies the piece. Loss of glaze by rim. Chips, wear.
