a "New York" sofa, model nr 5316, Ljungs Industrier, Malmö, Sweden, 1960.

Base in beech, upholstered in a "Hallindal 65" textile from Kvadrat, height 75 cm Length 230 cm, depth 80 cm.

Reupholstered and renovated. The base with minor wear.

Provenance

The parents of the vendor bought the sofa at Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm in 1960.

More information

Wormley had a collaboration with Ljungs Industrier in Malmö for a shorter period and this model was produced on license during a limited time. In Sweden the model was named "New York".
