A CARPET, an old Esfahan, with an inscription: Davari, ca 318,5 x 206,5 cm.
An ivory ground with a polychrome medallion, corner ornaments, palmette, arabesque and flower festoons. A wide light greyish brown main border with a palmette, flower and arabesque vine. The outer secondary border has an inscription Esfahan Davari. The warp is in silk.
Some wear, dirty, stains, minor mothdamages.
