Anna Camner målar med små tunna penseldrag utförda med stor koncentration. Hennes måleri för tankarna till surrealism och vanitasmotiv av 1600-talets mästare. Sina motiv hittar hon bland till synes oansenliga material och föremål. Med fokus på detaljer närstuderar hon svampar, plastfolie, nötter och djur. I Odalisque Magazine beskrivs måleriet i hennes senaste utställning (4 oktober - 10 november 2019) som en kombination mellan konstnärens och forskarens hantverk. "The Swedish artist Anna Camner’s exhibition A Plague I call a Heartbeat at Galerie Forsblom, in Stockholm, emerges an intriguing interdisciplinary dialogue between the brush strokes by an artist and meticulous observations of a scientist."
Hon tilldelades Beckers konstnärsstipendium 2017 och har tidigare ställt ut på Färgfabriken i Stockholm och på galleri Christian Larsen.
