Bronze and ivory, mounted on a black marble base. Signed on the base: F. Preiss. Height 31 cm.
Left hand has been broken off and re-glued, base with minor chip underneath.
Provenance
Reportedly the sculpture has been in the same family at least since the 1940's or 50's, once bought by the father probably at one of many business trips that he made to Germany.
