With a fierce coiling dragon amidst a foilage of bamboo. With the monogram M. O. for Marika Olivecrona. Height 13,5 cm.

Damage, dent, minor restoration to silver decoration.

Provenance

From the Collection of Wilhelm (1870-1968) and Marika Olivecrona (b. af Ugglas Forsmark. Wilhelm came out to China in 1901, later on he was employed by the Chinese Government as an engineer at the Board of Conservancy Works of Kwantung, Guangdong (Canton). He came to spend most of his working years in China.
