Signed L. Ury. Relined canvas 51 x 71 cm. Executed in 1926. The authenticity of the work is confirmed by Dr Sibylle Gross, Berlin and will come with a certificate of authenticity. The work will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné.

Galerie Paul Cassirer, Berlin, auction 21.10.1932, no 104 (Abendhimmel über der Themse, 1926; repurchase by Else and Willy Pincus, Schwiebus (Świebodzin)/Berlin (since 1933) (Else Pincus belonged to the community of heirs of Lesser Ury).
Simon Heinrich and Helene Cahn, Buenos Aires (most probably purchased in the 1950s in Berlin).
Thence by descent to the present owner.
